Further , if an uneducated man hears what we have mentioned , that God comprehends the universe so that nothing is concealed from him , he will at once imagine that this comprehending is effected by means of eyesight ; that eyesight is only possible by means of an eye , and that two eyes are better than only one ; and in consequence he will describe God as having a thousand eyes , meaning to describe his omniscience . इसके अलावा यदि कोई अशिक्षित व्यक्ति वह सब सुनता है जिसका हमने जिक्र किया है कि ईश्वर समस्त ब्रह्मांड में इस प्रकार व्याप्त है कि उससे कोई बात छिपी नहीं है तो वह तत्काल यह कल्पना कर लेगा कि यह व्याप्ति दृष्टि के माध्यम से संभव हुई हैः और द्रष्टि केवल नेत्र से संभव है और नेत्र यदि एक के बजाय दो हों तो बेहतर है और परिमाणतः वह ईश्वर को सहस्त्र नेत्रों वाला मान लेगा क्योंकि उससे उसकी सर्वज्ञता प्रकट होती
